EXPOCHESS “Chess and Art of the World” is a current project which embraces global culture. With a well-defined growth vocation, this project has presence in eight countries and several exhibitions and many other countries will take part of this initiative soon.

The arts of the world united

This international project shows and promotes the chess culture through a painstaking selection of drawings from different countries where the artists transmit common values to our project.

In order to achieve this goal, we will put at the disposal of the participants an EXPOCHESS art gallery which will include some of the artworks that we now have in the “EXPOCHESS X.E” Cultural Association. We will launch exhibition tours, contests and festivals related to chess culture all over the world. After each event the art gallery will be enriched and everyone will be able to see and enjoy this material.

World-class artists of all ages

Since this extensive intercultural art collection began in our first EXPOCHESS 2014 festival, Azkoitia (Basque Country) and year after year we have continued with our philosophy of attracting more people to the great sport-art-science that is chess through cultural festivals, we have gathered a large number of works and artists in this initiative, and of all ages by our EXPOCHESS CHILDREN OF THE WORLD project (thousands of drawings received from children from 20 countries of the 5 continents).
