What is EXPOCHESS CHILDREN OF THE WORLD?
EXPOCHESS CHILDREN OF THE WORLD is a pedagogical project aimed at promoting the communication between children from different countries. It main objective is give the children the chance to experience themselves, in their own social sphere, the cultural diversity they are part of, which implies not being mere speactors, but assuming the leading role of their vital reality. Expochess allows breaking down all racial, political, geographical, idiomatic, religious, economic and technological barriers. Thanks to the intervener´s willingness and their solidary support to this iniciative we are able to develop the project in an equal, liberal and brotherly enviroment between the different countries and their people.

Chess as cultural bridge
The pedagogical tool use for the achivement of this objective is Chess. It ludic and mainly intelectual nature enables a full online developmment avoiding all cultural and geographical issues. Furthermore, it regulations and international language eliminates all cultural differences, building a virtual bridge where the children can exchange their personal experiences as they were playing in the schoolyard.

Technological door
The material resources which provide the oppotunity of a worldwide cooperation and meeting are the new technologies. These are like doors and windows in this global village. Another great ally reducing the cost of an event of this kind is the game system use during the tournament. The ASHI 4.0 also contributes in the participant´s democratization and resources optimization required for the aims specify above.

Children, the protagonist
Thank to chess and new technologies the relevance of the project, bond diverse cultures and countries, lies in children for the very first time. The official and supranational institutions as well as big companies used to face the global issues, will asume a seconday role. The children will unit nations while they enjoy themselves with the science-sport they love. They will play in front of an online chess board forgetting any age, religious or disability distinction in sincere relationship with the motto of the FIDE (World Chess Federation) “Gens una sumus” (We are a family).

Under the search of the universal fraternity launched from the childhood, EXPOCHESS CHILDREN OF THE WORLD defines itself as a solidary project. To cope with this initiative it is required a great human organization and cooperation as well as a huge technological infraestructure and economical resources. This combination gives some people and comunities the chance to share their rewarding experiences, showing them a new reality. All this experiences will then contribute in the great library of the life: the human diversity. EXPOCHESS believes that differences do not mean inequility.
