EXPOCHESS CHILDREN OF THE WORLD is a pedagogical project aimed at children whose primary objective is to communicate children from different parts of the world (Global aspect) so that they can interact from their own social environment (local aspect). the cultural diversity of which they are a part, not as mere spectators but as authentic protagonists of their vital reality, overcoming the geographic, linguistic, racial, religious, political, economic and even technological barriers that may arise, thanks to the goodwill of all the participants in the project who support the initiative in a supportive way so that it unfolds in a plane of Freedom, Equality and Fraternity among all the countries and their people.
The pedagogical tool used to achieve this goal is Chess, whose primarily intellectual playful nature makes possible its full development in the network avoiding geographical and economic difficulties, while its rules and international language eliminate cultural differences, making it a bridge This is a virtual way in which girls and boys will naturally exchange their personal experiences as if they were in the schoolyard.

The material medium that provides this opportunity for encounter and cooperation between different Peoples of the planet, is provided by the new technologies that make doors and windows in the global village, specifically, the AHSI 4.0 game system used in the tournament, whose use greatly reduces the costs of a Festival of these characteristics to the use, democratizing with it the participation and optimizing the resources for the ends explained above.
Childhood protagonistTherefore, the relevance of the project lies in the fact that for the first time, thanks to Chess and the development of technologies, the encounter between peoples and cultures, rather than between adult representatives of official organisms, supranational institutions, or large companies that Discuss aspects that affect us all in the present, will happen between the representatives of the future, the little ones of the house, the girls and boys who study in the schools, the youth that works to help their family in the neighborhood and they will do it, not arguing from a platform, but playing in front of a board with a computer connected to the Internet, while having fun with sports-science that unites them regardless of their religion, sex, age, disability problems... in sincere friendship under the motto of FIDE "Gens una sumus" (We are a Family).
The Festival was presented in Budapest (Hungary) where the II International Drawing Contest was held, followed in Mexico with the start of the Tournament and ended at the Gran Hotel Lakua in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Euskadi) whose respective venues are prestigious by themselves. festival: Graphisoft Park, the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos and the Gran Hotel Lakua.
This year we added another step forward in the project with the participation of the Carmelitas Sacred Heart School of Vitoria-Gasteiz as one of the main collaborators of the project.
We added new activities such as contests and art workshops for children live, exhibitions, international conferences ... a host of attractive proposals for children and adults to come to this show that offers the joint work of High Technology with the Wonderful World of 64 boxes.
The organization of a festival of these characteristics, has an international team that in interdisciplinarity, economists, businessmen, computer scientists, Grand Masters, artists, pedagogues, philosophers, journalists, etc. He works in the fields of financing, design, communication, technology, chess, public relations ... and coordination tasks, as well as national representatives who guaranteed with their professionalism the perfect performance of the local Festival in each of the participating countries.
EXPOCHESS CHILDREN OF THE WORLD was born with the idea of holding bilateral meetings, but as soon as the first contacts were made to launch its first edition we found that no less than 12 countries had shown their enthusiastic interest in participating actively in the Festival. Today there are already more than 20 countries in the five continents, participants (directly and / or indirectly) in this second call and three venues that hosted their main events: Hungary, Mexico and Euskadi (Spain).
