Nepal wins the II EXPOCHESS International Solidary Tournament
In this second edition of the tournament, thanks to the AHSI 4.0 game system merges Chess tournament + online interviews, it gathered 9 countries representing 9 teams that played a Swiss game in 4 rounds. The teams were: Peru, Argentina, Nicaragua, Nepal, Portugal, Mexico, Spain, Paraguay and Chile.
Nepal was the winner of the contest ahead of Portugal and Argentina; until the last games there was excitement demonstrating the great level of the tournament.
The children enjoyed it very much and the adults enjoyed it, a unique experience with which we learned again from the little ones that we are all the same.
The tournament has great spiritual and protest impact, because its mere realization states that even being thousands of miles away, we are all equal, we all have the right to a world full of opportunities and to enjoy a dignified life, in harmony, joy and peace. It is through education, science and culture that the Peoples of the Earth find themselves in Universal Fraternity and enrich each other in a transfer of values that make the entire Humanity progress, opening windows to the Common House and building bridges between the nations and their people, especially children who are the authentic Light of the World.
The tournament was online (AHSI 4.0 game system), not face-to-face: In each country the boards and people were playing, but opposite, instead of a rival there was a volunteer who through the AHSI 4.0 system (combination of video and live games) moved the pieces of the player he represented; via Internet.
The game system had a game speed of 20 minutes for the entire game; 10 minutes per player and 15 more between game and game.
It was played in two days, the first in Mexico (a triangular between Hungary, Mexico and Spain), within the Marcel Sisniega Memorial Festival and the second in Vitoria-Gasteiz (the final between 9 countries).
Being a solidary tournament, the aura of personal competition was left in the background, with the objective of the tournament being the human connection between the children of the different countries.
Therefore, the AHSI 4.0 game system added an activity to the tournament: while the games were being played, other members of the team interviewed the children of the country they were facing. This same activity was carried out in each of the matches in such a way that each round is a round of questions between the opponents about the culture of their country, about their school ... so that they would emphasize each other.
