Unique World Art Network
Children from 6 to 14 years old participate (two age ranges, from 6 to 9 and from 10 to 14 years old) and people over 14 years old; divided into three categories. In this edition we launch a new theme, our slogan: THE TRANSVERSAL CULTURE OF CHESS with which we want to illustrate the transversality of Chess as social, pedagogical, cultural, sports...
The contest is "2.0", because it merges new and traditional technologies; a section will be opened on the event website where you can see both the 24 works selected by each country and category as well as all the participants (from each country) creating a huge and very rich art network with touches of different cultures.
In the previous edition, the contest numbers spoke for themselves of the great success and scope of this event: fifteen countries, three continents participated and thousands of drawings were received, in Uruguay alone the organizers exceeded one thousand drawings received. The selected works were exhibited at the Gran Hotel Lakua (Vitoria-Gasteiz) in the final phase of the project (December 22).
