Expochess Colombia 2018

Within the international stops of Expochess, event that was born in Spain, on the initiative of José and David Sierra, (father and son), the Colegio Emilio Valenzuela Foundation of Bogotá, made between 19 and 20 October the Expochess Colombia stop. In the event attended by hundreds of students from the main schools in the capital, different acts were performed where the students articulated chess with mathematics, all through gamification postures in the development of mathematical games with the elements of the science game, a story contest involving literature with the noble game, and another of drawing and painting where through the visual arts young people expressed their feelings and feelings towards chess. Within the event, also a time to share virtually, with schools in Spain and Mexico.

The activity had the sponsorship and presence of the Basque Country delegation, with whom in the future, we promise to continue working in this collaborative line.
